Piece inspired by Corinne Jaber meet with Syrian refugees, presented in Lausanne and then in London.

“I could not be satisfied with what I read in the newspapers or on the Internet about the civil war in Syria, I knew I had to talk differently : what it is, in human life, having to leave the country and forced strength to go to another country where nothing awaits you, and nobody wants you ? In compagnie d'Amir Nizar Zuabi, with whom I co-wrote the play, I am part and meet the installed Syrian refugees in Lebanon and Jordan. Everywhere I allee - whether in Amman, or I saw cashed entire buildings to refugees by Qatar and Kuwait, or whether in Lebanon, Palestinians today or rent their former camp of the Syrians - , I saw the inconceivable situations. Without work for adults, no school for children, families traumatized by what they have lived await, by thousands, something happens. "Where are the NGOs ? Why does not anyone just help us ? », did they keep telling me. They need to talk and be listened to is immeasurable. And all of them evoke "good life" before, in the villages of this beautiful country that was nourishing Syria, or every household used to grow the best tomatoes in the world in his garden… All these refugees have nothing, essentially, activists or revolutionaries engaged. The obligation to remain dignified and continuing despite all, has lead a decent life, makes them heroes.”
